Who we are
Things to Do in Lisbon is written by the Things to Do in Lisbon editorial team. We are not a tour operator and we don't sell tours ourselves: we compare what the booking platforms offer and send you to the one that fits.
How we pick tours
- What people search for. Every page answers a real search, such as "Sintra day trip" or "Lisbon food tour", and the questions people ask about it.
- What the tour actually offers. Route, duration, group size, pickup and the cancellation terms, read from the tour's own page.
- Track record. Rating and number of reviews as shown on GetYourGuide. We prefer tours with many reviews over a perfect score from a handful.
- Who it suits. Each tour gets a plain "who it suits" line and one sentence on why we picked it, so you can rule tours out as quickly as in.
Where the facts come from
Tour prices, durations and ratings come from GetYourGuide and were checked on 19 October 2026. Opening times, ticket prices and travel times come from the official sites of the attractions and transport operators, linked on each page. Hotels were checked on Trip.com. Prices change, so the booking page always has the final word.
